The Creative Thinkers' Club

We do not say "It is impossible" but "How can we make it possible".

  • We explore low-cost, low-risk, on-line business opportunities and pursue those which look promising.
  • We help charities and similar organisations to raise funds.
  • We are a large, loosely organised team and support each other in our commercial activities.
  • We strongly believe in personal development and in the commercial philosophy of Robert Kiyosaki ("The Cashflow Quadrant") [get it from Amazon].

Membership of our club is free.

Monthly meetings in Blackburn (later also in Preston, Manchester and Leeds).

To join, simply subscribe to our mailing list. (link to follow)

As a reward for your enterprise and to catapult you into success, we give you a free e-copy of Napoleon Hill's famous book: "Think and grow rich".

Who are the people you will be mixing with? Successful entrepreneurs (or others striving to be successful in life and in business) . We teach down-to-earth life skills and business skills and point you to training opportunities which you might otherwise miss.

What do we discuss at our meetings?

Topics

How to gain confidence in interviews, business meetings, negotiations. How to win friends and influence people. How to become a successful networker. How to spot business opportunities. How to invest your hard earned cash. How to set up a business of your own without the enormous start up expenses of buying a franchise. How to become a better saleswoman/man. Why the poor stay poor and the rich grow ever richer. What can you do about it (don't join the poor). How to give a masterful presentation. Public speaking. How to sell yourself during an interview. 5 essential things you have to know when choosing a website developer (before ordering the website), pitfalls you have to avoid. Real estate investment. Financial skills. What Search Engine Optimisation can do for you. How to make money on the Internet. Personal finance. Small talk. How to start a conversation with strangers and keep it going. How to avoid embarrassment at business events. Fund raising ideas for charities.

and many more ...

If we hear about books and courses that may be useful to you, we call your attention to them. From time to time one of our members will present the gist of some such book or course during our meetings, as an incentive for you to read or view the original.

If we hear about free networking opportunities in the region, we send you links and invitations (apart from the fact, of course, that our club itself is a regular networking opportunity for you). The more people you know, the more successful you will be in life and business. There is hardly any problem in business which one of our members cannot be consulted on or knows someone who can give expert advice.

Everybody in the club is success oriented. We do NOT TRY to be successful, we jointly work out how each of us SHALL BE successful. When faced with a problem, creative thinkers do not say: "This is impossible", but they say: "How do I make it possible? Who knows the answers? Who can I find to help me?" When others see problems, we seeK solutions. When others face mountains, we dig tunnels (i.e. we transform a mountain into a molehill).

If we have a wish, we do not say (as pre-programmed losers do): "I cannot afford it"; we say: "How can I afford it? What will I do so that I can afford it?" And then we swing into action. We are programmed to win.

By joining The Creative Thinkers Club, you will join a company of winners, and their skills and attitudes will rub off on you. Born losers and negative thinkers will return to the lowlands they came from. WE are in the highlands.

It is the duty of senior members of the club to pass on their skills to the junior members, in proportion to the effort made by the junior members. The more active you are in the club, i.e. in your own life and self-development, the more help you will receive. If you are entirely passive, you will be left to your own devices. This is a club of go-go people (go-get, can-do), even if they have not found success yet. It is desire and effort that counts. Trying something else after each failed attempt -- until you hit it big. Never giving up. Falling seven times a day (like a toddler) and immediately getting up again. The toddler knows that eventually he will walk. YOU know that eventually YOU will be successful.

To understand our business and life philosophy better, we recommend that you read the following books:

  • Robert Kiyosaki: The cash flow quadrant. (available from Amazon or from the public library, and worth its weight in gold)
  • Robert Butwin: Network marketing (available from Amazon or from the public library, and worth its weight in silver; so go and buy that immediately, and then discuss with fellow members whether there are any ways of putting Butwin's advice into practice and profiting from it financially)
  • Napoleon Hill: Think and grow rich (which you will get as welcome gift [as an e-book] when you join our mailing list.

Temporary arrangements

The Creative Thinkers Club is loosely affiliated to a large network of teams of people with similar attitudes to those described above. While we are preparing our operations in the North West (Lancashire, Blackburn, Preston, Manchester, Leeds and environs), we are sharing the events of those assiated networks, e.g. in Manchester, Warrington and Liverpool. The structure of their meetings will be different from ours, but their attitudes, their philosophy of success in life and business are the same, and some of our founder members come from that network. This network of networks is so informal that they often refer to themselves simply as The Team. Some of our founder members are also members of the team. Membership of The Team is also free, you receive an invitation and you simply go there and try to make friends, find out what you can contribute and how you can benefit.

Those who contribute most benefit most.

While we are getting the mechanics of The Creative Thinkers' Club up and running, we will invite you (if you subscribe to our mailing list) to those associated events.

This is a temporary website

A proper one is being developed as we speak. It will contain information not only for local members (those who can participate in our meetings in Blackburn, Preston, Manchester and Leeds) but also for 'corresponding members', e.g. overseas (India, Pakistan, Philippines, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal) and in the less fortunate parts of the United Kingdom (i.e. anything outside Lancashire).
